Stone Farm CottagesStone Farm CottagesContact: Nicky Bolton
Stone Farm has two holiday cottages on an 86-acre small holding located in the beautiful Glyme Valley, just three miles from the market town of Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds.
Peaceful, and with stunning views, you will find the Stone Farm cottages the perfect place from which to enjoy everything that the Cotswolds countryside has to offer with a wealth of walks, cycle routes, bridleways and wildlife right outside your window. You will also find yourself within easy reach of plenty of renowned towns, such as Burford, Woodstock, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, all of which will enable you to enjoy a fantastic Cotswold holiday.
Children will love exploring the surrounding Cotswolds countryside – there is plenty of space for them to roam around and play. Dogs will love the abundance of walks just outside your door (the holiday cottages at Stone farm are located on both the Shakespeare and Wychwood Way). And couples will find this a perfect Cotswolds rural retreat.
There are two cottages within Stone Farm – Hoarstone Cottage and Glymestone Cottage – each providing holiday accommodation for up to four people. However, if you wanted to holiday in a larger group, or with another family, the cottages are close enough to each other to be able to do so, yet far enough apart to guarantee your privacy.
Both carefully thought-out barn conversions, the cottages are tastefully decorated in a ‘country meets contemporary’ style, providing guests with modern appliances alongside oak beams and vaulted ceilings. Additional facilities include a private garden for each cottage together with a BBQ and outdoor furniture – perfect for a spot of summer dining.
NEW FOR SUMMER 2014
New this year is the availability of a heated outdoor swimming pool for our guests to use. Beautifully warm (upto 28 degrees) and sheltered, our enclosed pool is within walking distance from both cottages. Whether you choose to do a spot of sunbathing on the loungers or take a dip in the pool, this fantastic new addition will be a welcome sight if the summer of 2014 is as glorious as the summer last year.
